Emma Webb, founder of doitforbrodie, and Penny met at the JustGiving Awards in 2023,
where they were both finalists in the Creative Fundraiser of the Year award, when Emma was
voted the unanimous winner by voters and competitors alike for her extraordinary fundraising
for mental health charities.
Penny was deeply moved by Emma’s loss of her beautiful Brodie and felt she had to do
whatever she could to help raise funds for her newly set up Community Interest Project,
doitforbrodie.com.
Penny’s sculptures always try to convey a sense of movement, energy and life and the Spirit
Horse is her interpretation of the vitality of these beautiful dynamic creatures that Brodie so
loved and adored.
Penny’s sculptures have been exhibited throughout the UK and are in private collections
throughout Europe, the United States and as far afield as Australia and South Africa.
